Lotte Corporation’s e‑commerce Seller Support Team faced a time‑consuming manual process: teams had to review product descriptions (many embedded as images) for cosmetics and food—about 200 products per day—to catch violations and misleading claims. To boost labor productivity under shifting workweek rules, Lotte turned to UiPath, deploying the UiPath Enterprise RPA Platform alongside Google Optical Character Recognition (OCR).
UiPath robots, implemented with on‑site logic from partner Hansol PNS, now automatically extract and verify product text, processing over 350 products per robot per day. As a result, where people handled roughly 4,400 cases per month, a single UiPath robot now handles 9,000–10,000 cases monthly, running 24/7, freeing about three hours per day for each staff member and allowing the team to focus on higher‑value work.
