Kepak successfully welcomes robots to the family

Kepak, one of Europe’s leading meat producers, needed a way to improve efficiency in a low-margin industry without making large upfront technology investments. The company wanted to reduce repetitive manual work across departments while keeping automation knowledge in-house, and it turned to UiPath robotic process automation (RPA) to get started quickly.

UiPath helped Kepak automate processes such as accounts payable, receipts handling, and data gathering, with the team using UiPath Automation Hub and UiPath Academy to manage ideas and train citizen developers. The results included 10 automations live, 5 in development, 54 automation ideas submitted, and 15,000 hours of work returned to staff so far, including a 2,388-hour annual reduction from the first accounts payable automation alone.
