KAEFER Energy makes RPA a key part of its digitalization strategy

KAEFER Energy, a Norwegian energy and utilities company serving the oil and gas industry, wanted to reduce time-consuming, repetitive work across finance and administration as part of its broader digitalization strategy. Using UiPath RPA, the company looked to streamline manual, rules-based processes and free employees to focus on more “value creating” work.

UiPath, working with partner Atea, helped KAEFER Energy automate workflows such as invoice processing, document gathering, reporting, travel expenses, HSE, and salary-related tasks. The results included reducing human involvement in invoice document gathering from 4 hours to 10 minutes, cutting one process from five people spending half a day each month to just 10 minutes of user time, and taking automations from initial design to production in under 2 months.
