A UiPath Case Study
Jana Small Finance Bank, a rapidly growing small finance bank with about 500 branches across 19 Indian states, needed to accelerate its digital transformation and reduce heavy manual workloads in back-office tasks. The bank faced high-volume, repetitive processes—such as 300–400 daily password reset requests and slow Credit Bureau report generation—that created long turnaround times for ID management and credit verification. To tackle this, Jana deployed the UiPath Enterprise RPA Platform and UiPath Robots.
UiPath implemented automated workflows for ID creation/deletion/unlock/reset and Credit Report Generation & Verification using its Enterprise RPA platform, replacing manual handling by 4–5 people and standardizing approval templates and business logic. The automation cut turnaround time by roughly 65–70% (password reset time from 3–4 hours to under an hour) and reduced credit-report cycles from 2–3 days to one day, improving accuracy and efficiency; Jana now plans to expand UiPath Robots across branches.
