Hudson's Bay Company (HBC) Embraces UiPath to Uplevel Retail Operations

Hudson’s Bay Company (HBC), one of North America’s oldest retailers, needed a more scalable and secure way to expand automation across the business after its home-grown RPA platform started to fall short. HBC turned to UiPath and its UiPath Platform to support a growing pipeline of use cases across merchandise operations, finance, digital operations, supply chain, logistics, and technology.

With UiPath, HBC migrated existing bots and built new automations for carrier claims, report validation, and accounts payable processing. The results included more than 30 automated processes, over 300 carrier claims submitted monthly, 17 executive reports validated daily, and 1.5 million purchase orders processed in three months using up to 90 bots—dramatically improving speed, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
