A UiPath Case Study
Dentsu, a global digital marketing communications company with about 45,000 employees operating in 145 countries, needed to scale automation enterprise-wide while empowering employees to eliminate repetitive work and upskill. Working with UiPath, Dentsu set up an Automation Center of Excellence and adopted the UiPath Platform—particularly StudioX for citizen developers, plus Orchestrator, Automation Hub and UiPath Academy—to make automation accessible across the organization.
UiPath enabled a mixed top-down and bottom-up approach: the CoE deployed 60 robots in 30 days for a major data migration (saving more than 125,000 hours), launched a Citizen Automation Program using StudioX and UiPath Academy, and ran UiPath-led hackathons that produced automations expected to save 850+ hours for one team and contribute over 3,000 hours saved in two-day hackathons. With governance through UiPath Orchestrator and Automation Hub, Dentsu accelerated adoption, surfaced 70+ new ideas, and significantly boosted employee productivity and campaign delivery.
