Case Study: Dentsu achieves 125,500 hours saved and rapid migration of 2.8M records with UiPath

A UiPath Case Study

Preview of the Dentsu Case Study

How Dentsu built 60 robots in 30 days (and saved 125K hours in the process)

Dentsu, a global digital marketing communications company, faced the urgent task of extracting and migrating more than 2.8 million records from legacy systems under tight deadlines. Manual copy‑and‑paste would have required tens or hundreds of thousands of hours and risked compliance errors, so Dentsu turned to UiPath’s RPA platform and UiPath Professional Services to automate the work.

Working with UiPath, Dentsu’s Automation CoE and UiPath Professional Services built and deployed 60 unattended robots in about six weeks to automate 17 processes across the migration. The UiPath solution reduced average handling time per transaction from 3 minutes to 18 seconds (a 90% reduction), saved roughly 125,500 hours, avoided the need for dozens to hundreds of temporary hires, and delivered an accurate, compliant migration of ~2.8 million records.
