Deluxe, a banking and financial services company, needed a faster way to review complex contract terms before making pricing changes across a large client base. The team had to sift through more than 900 lengthy legal documents, including master service agreements, amendments, addendums, and statements of work, to find restrictions, notification requirements, caps, and consent clauses. UiPath Document Understanding, part of the UiPath Business Automation Platform, was used to help solve this challenge.
UiPath implemented AI and automation to pull relevant agreements from Salesforce, extract key pricing attributes with generative AI prompts, and summarize the findings for review in just hours. The solution went from proof of concept to full production in about a month, delivering a 99% faster time to value and saving Deluxe more than 800 hours on a single use case. Deluxe also reported more consistent data and improved confidence through validation in UiPath Action Center, and plans to expand the solution to additional contract-management and back-office automation use cases.
