A UiPath Case Study
Evros Technology Group, an Irish IT services and managed‑services provider, faced a bottleneck in accounts payable where finance staff spent about 20 hours a week processing up to 1,800 invoices a month. To gain greater efficiency the company turned to UiPath, evaluating and then deploying UiPath AI products — notably UiPath Document Understanding and UiPath AI Center (with UiPath Task Capture and Automation Cloud) — to automate invoice ingestion, extraction and integration with Microsoft Outlook and Dynamics NAV.
UiPath implemented a mixed attended/unattended bot solution, trained invoice data models, and set up continuous retraining and reporting. Within 6–8 weeks model confidence rose from ~60% to ~80%; the finance team cut invoice processing time by about 80% (from ~20 hours to ~4 hours per week), processing roughly 21,000 invoices a year, with ongoing improvements driven by UiPath’s AI-enabled document processing and Power BI dashboards.
