A UiPath Case Study
Euro Bank S.A., a Polish retail bank serving 1.4 million customers with 500 branches, faced a higher‑than‑average cost‑to‑income ratio and significant manual, rules‑based workload in core banking processes. In 2017 the bank piloted Robotic Process Automation and chose UiPath (with PwC as implementation partner) to evaluate and scale automation using UiPath Orchestrator and UiPath Robots.
Using UiPath—deploying UiPath Orchestrator, UiPath Robots and training via UiPath Academy—Euro Bank S.A. established a Center of Excellence and automated processes such as loan schedule changes, KYC, online sales and collections. The deployment runs 14 active robots across 10+ systems, delivered near‑100% backlog processing in targeted areas, saved 20+ FTEs monthly (≈27,500 hours in 2018), scaled weekly inquiries from 3,000 to 6,000 and cut online product opening from 1–1.5 days to about four hours.
