E. & J. Gallo Winery, a large U.S.-based winery and distributor, needed a faster and more reliable way to transfer and manage data in its ERP system. The company faced increasing data entry demands and the risk of errors that could affect decision-making, so it turned to UiPath and robotic process automation (RPA) to improve data quality and streamline repetitive work.

Using UiPath, E. & J. Gallo automated processes across finance, SAP data entry, supplier purchasing, compensation payments, and more, expanding beyond the initial proof of concept into multiple departments. The effort has produced 12 citizen developers, saved 10,000 hours since January 2020, and driven $500,000 in cost avoidance, while helping employees focus on higher-value work and enabling faster launches without added temporary headcount.
