Dentsu, a global media and digital marketing communications company, wanted to move beyond fragmented, region-by-region automation efforts and make automation more accessible across its workforce. With support from UiPath and its Automation Cloud platform, the company aimed to democratize automation, improve collaboration, and give employees easier access to automation and AI capabilities.

UiPath helped Dentsu implement a more centralized, cloud-based automation strategy using UiPath Automation Cloud, Automation Hub, and generative AI tools like dentsuGPT. The results have been substantial: Dentsu reports more than 600,000 annualized hours saved, over 600 automations deployed, and roughly 400 automation ideas in the pipeline as of the end of 2023. Specific automations cut a 2,860-hour monthly SEO reporting process to under three hours, reduced a 108-hour finance task to four hours per month, and saved over 7,700 hours in e-commerce data work.
