Deloitte, a global professional services firm, needed a way to help government agencies improve productivity and manage growing backlogs during the pandemic, when remote work and budget pressure made it harder for staff to do more with less. Using UiPath robotic process automation (RPA) along with ServiceNow, Deloitte set out to align digital labor with mission-critical government processes.
UiPath helped Deloitte build a digital labor PMO tool that centralized automation management and integrated with existing systems. The solution delivered major results, including an 80% improvement in processing times, 3 to 5x higher throughput, a 300% increase in work productivity, and 99.9% accuracy; in one month, bots processed more than 2,000 transactions and completed work in under 11 hours that would have taken staff more than 500 hours.
