Bilfinger Industrial Services Belgium/Netherlands, part of the Bilfinger Group, needed to improve efficiency and service quality across its Order to Cash processes. The company was spending significant time on repetitive manual data entry for client invoicing and time registration, with employees entering information into client systems even when the data was already digitized internally. UiPath software robots, implemented with support from partner Ciphix, were introduced to help automate these high-volume, error-prone tasks.

UiPath and Ciphix delivered a successful proof of concept in just four weeks, leading to a broader rollout of five robots across the Project Administration department. The automation reduced manual workload, improved data quality, shortened lead times, and minimized errors, with Bilfinger reporting up to 70% time savings on data input processes. The robots also enabled staff to handle more client work with zero errors and freed them to focus on higher-value process control and continuous improvement.
