An Ambitious RPA Approach Pays Off—to the Tune of 55,000 Hours Saved

EDP Valor, the global business services arm of the EDP Group, wanted to boost productivity, cut repetitive work, and improve service quality across hundreds of critical systems. To do this it chose UiPath’s Robotic Process Automation platform (with Deloitte advising on vendor selection and rollout) to rapidly scale automation across the organization.

UiPath implemented a three‑phase rollout and an internal Center of Excellence to train users and govern automations; within 12 months EDP Valor automated ~85 processes and has since delivered 450+ automations, ~170 robots, and more than 220,000 hours saved, improving speed, accuracy and deadline compliance while increasing employee acceptance of RPA.
