Alpitour's Journey to Robotic Process Automation Success

Alpitour Group, a leading European travel and hospitality company, faced many manual, repetitive processes across its operations, from aviation passenger lists to flight rework and data entry. To improve efficiency without reducing headcount, Alpitour partnered with UiPath and launched its automation journey as part of its strategic innovation program, inNOVA, using the UiPath Business Automation Platform.

UiPath implemented robotic process automation through Alpitour’s center of excellence, enabling transparent, low-code development across multiple teams. The results were significant: Alpitour deployed 33 robots, automated passenger-list processing for up to 15 flights per day, cut processing time from about an hour per flight to 30 seconds, and quickly handled a 12,000-flight rework task that would have required 10 employees working through the weekend.
