BankDhofar, a leading bank in Oman, needed a better way to handle its process-heavy operations while maintaining strong customer experience, accuracy, and compliance. To support its digital transformation, the bank selected UiPath and began exploring robotic process automation (RPA) to automate repetitive, time-consuming tasks across departments.
UiPath helped BankDhofar deploy about 15 robots across 56 processes, starting with database log monitoring, settlements, and POS terminal statement generation and later expanding into cash management and other areas. The results were significant: processing transaction costs fell by 60%, work errors dropped by 30%, processing times were reduced by more than 50%, and the bank generated an estimated $3.9 million in business impact through automation.
