Polaris Transportation Group, a North American transportation, logistics, and warehousing provider specializing in cross-border freight between Canada and the U.S., needed to reduce manual, error-prone workflows in a time-sensitive logistics environment. Working with UiPath through qBotica’s managed services model, Polaris set out to modernize customs processing, order creation, and front-line operations using AI automation.

UiPath helped Polaris implement automation built on the UiPath Platform, including Document Understanding for customs documents, automated order intake from unstructured emails, and document alignment for bills of lading. The results were significant: 85% of customs documents are now cleared automatically, 30% of orders flow through with no employee intervention, and order creation time dropped by 90% from 15–20 minutes to around two minutes.
