Travis Perkins, a leading UK distributor of building materials and home improvement products, was handling around 15,000 new credit account applications a year through a mostly manual process. The team had to enter paper forms by hand, run checks across several systems, and manage sensitive customer data, which created delays, errors, and security risks—especially during promotional surges. UiPath was brought in with Robiquity to help modernize the account-opening workflow through intelligent automation.

Using UiPath software, Travis Perkins automated data capture from digital forms, branch assignment, credit and fraud checks, cross-referencing with Companies House, and customer communications. The new process cut application handling time from about an hour to 20 minutes, reduced credit application processing time by 67%, improved turnaround from 48 hours to 24 hours, and helped the business absorb 27% more new customers without slowing down. UiPath also enabled stronger data security and a better customer experience through faster decisions and automated text/email updates.
