How automation gave VPBank a boost

VPBank, a leading commercial bank in Vietnam, needed to reduce the heavy manual workload that was slowing down loan processing, customer service, compliance, and internal reporting. Working with UiPath and its robotic process automation (RPA) platform, the bank set out to streamline operations, improve turnaround times, and support a growing customer base while maintaining strong accuracy and compliance.

UiPath helped VPBank build an internal automation program that has now implemented more than 300 automation processes, with 102 added in 2024 alone. The results include more than 1.8 million customer inquiries answered via automation in 2024, processing times cut by 10x, the equivalent of 350 full-time employees in savings, and Contact Center 247 handling about 150,000 transactions per month across 40+ automations. The bank also became the first in Vietnam to fully automate anti-money-laundering compliance and is now expanding into AI-driven automation.
