Driving transformation in healthcare with Intelligent Automation

Asklepios Kliniken, one of Germany’s largest private hospital groups, wanted to improve process stability, data quality, and operational efficiency while reducing employee workload across its healthcare operations. To support this transformation, the company chose UiPath as its automation platform and launched its first robotic process automation (RPA) projects with the help of partner Lunatec.

UiPath helped Asklepios scale from early pilots to a broader intelligent automation program that has automated more than 120 processes, with six more in development. Since January 2024, Asklepios has processed 1.7 million transactions with a 97.5% success rate, equivalent to about 5,000 workdays saved in less than 1.5 years, while also improving accuracy, reducing manual effort, and laying the groundwork for OCR-based AI automation in SAP and supplier workflows.
