The Arnott’s Group, a major Australian food manufacturer, needed a more structured way to scale automation across its operations after earlier experiments showed that automation had to be managed as a long-term business program rather than a one-off technology project. Working with UiPath and partner Ashling Partners, the company set out to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and free teams for higher-value work across supply chain, finance, and commercial functions.

UiPath helped The Arnott’s Group automate key processes using the UiPath Platform, including Document Understanding for email-based sales order processing and invoice handling in SAP. The results were significant: 75% of manual customer orders were digitized, saving up to 60 hours per week, robot success rates stayed above 99%, and projects delivered an average ROI in 10 months. UiPath also enabled the company to bring invoice processing back in-house and build a sustainable automation program with a backlog of ready-to-execute opportunities.
