A Twitter Case Study
Swiss Federal Railways (SBB CFF FFS) wanted to boost brand awareness among rail travelers, drive traffic to its online ticket shop and increase newsletter sign-ups, so it launched a targeted Twitter campaign aimed at users who hadn’t yet used its online services.
The campaign combined Website Cards (eye-catching preview images and targeted clicks), Promoted Accounts to grow followers, and an incentive-driven contest to spark engagement; over four months it delivered 1.6M+ impressions, added 2,000+ followers and achieved an engagement rate above 5%, meeting SBB’s objectives.
