Delissio wanted to turn National Pizza Day into a global moment to connect with pizza fans and drive trial of new products. To do that the brand partnered with Periscope and Twitter to stream a live pizza-making party from its test kitchen and spark conversation around the celebration.
Delissio used organic tweets, Promoted Tweets and Promoted Accounts, relevant hashtags, prizes and a special Montreal Canadiens contest to build tune-ins and engagement, and showcased four new pizzas during the broadcast. The campaign—supported by Creative Canvas and audience targeting—generated 770K impressions, 22K engagements and reached #1 on the global trending list.
