The challenge was reaching time‑poor, curious readers who want to learn quickly and converting them into app users and subscribers.

Blinkist used Image App Cards and Video App Install Cards on Twitter with keyword, interest, tailored audience and lookalike targeting, and continuously tested creative and messaging while tracking conversions. The approach drove 150,000 installs since January 2015, delivered a 10% lower CPI than other channels, and generated half of Blinkist’s subscriptions through Twitter, enabling scalable, ROI‑focused ad spend.
