A Twitter Case Study
The Alzheimer’s Association wanted to raise mass awareness and concern about Alzheimer’s disease, especially during Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month. To do that, the nonprofit used Twitter’s Promoted Trends and objective-based campaigns to promote #EndAlzheimers, drive engagement, clicks, and leads, and reach people beyond its usual audience.
Twitter helped the Alzheimer’s Association launch two Promoted Trends and support them with real-time Tweeting, celebrity advocacy, and audience engagement. The campaign generated a combined 132.7 million impressions and 33,110 mentions of #EndAlzheimers on trend days, significantly expanding awareness and conversation around the cause.
