Zoom, the video and web conferencing service, wanted to expand its reach by engaging IT decision-makers on Twitter and driving relevant traffic to its blog community. To cultivate new customers and increase demand for its platform, Zoom used Twitter’s ad targeting tools, Promoted Account, Promoted Tweets, Website Cards, and the Twitter Audience Platform.
Twitter helped Zoom combine language, keyword, username, and tailored audience targeting to reach the right people more efficiently, while also supporting a friendly, regular brand voice across its campaigns. The results were strong: quarter over quarter, Twitter drove a 46% increase in Tweet clickthrough rates and a 350% increase in Tweet engagement, and it delivered a 310% year-over-year increase in unique page views for the Zoom blog.
