Why Jotun Chose Printix for Cloud Print Management Across Their Global Sites

Jotun, a global coatings manufacturer with more than 10,000 employees and operations across 230 sites, needed to replace legacy Windows Server 2008–based print infrastructure as Microsoft ended support. The company sought a future-proof, Azure-friendly cloud print solution that would remove dependence on on‑premise print servers while preserving a seamless user experience for roughly 7,000 seats.

Jotun selected Printix (with implementation partner Atea) to deliver a serverless, Azure AD/SSO‑ready cloud print service. Using agile deployment and close collaboration, Printix was rolled out to 60% of sites in two weeks and 95% within two months, with users reporting a seamless experience. The project eliminated Windows Server 2008 and print‑server dependence across Jotun’s global estate, and the company plans to adopt Printix features like Secure Print and Site‑Manager.
