A Tungsten Automation Case Study
Ventura County Behavioral Health Department partnered with Kofax to turn mountains of treatment and operational data into actionable insight. The department needed to improve care coordination, be more patient‑centric, meet complex regulatory requirements and lower costs, but lacked the tools to analyze millions of records and understand who their clients are, what treatments they receive and what outcomes those treatments produce.
By implementing Kofax Insight with support from Western Integrated Systems and integrating it with the EHR and enterprise data warehouse, the department deployed intuitive dashboards and drill‑down analytics that give executives and clinic managers both high‑level views and clinic‑level detail while preserving HIPAA compliance. The solution has accelerated decision‑making, improved resource allocation and service planning, and laid the groundwork for predictive analytics to better target programs and improve client outcomes.
