A Tungsten Automation Case Study
The Giltrap Group, a family-owned New Zealand automotive importer and dealer network, faced mounting back-office strain as it grew through sales and acquisitions. Manual, repetitive processes—like re-keying parts orders into manufacturers’ portals and submitting warranty claims—were time-consuming, error-prone and threatened to force new hires just to keep up, risking higher costs and slower service.
Partnering with Fujifilm Business Innovation New Zealand, Giltrap deployed Kofax RPA to automate parts ordering and warranty-claim workflows. The result: parts ordering dropped from about 45 minutes to 7 minutes (≈84% faster), warranty processing fell from hours to under 30 minutes (≈87% faster), the robot processed 30 days of claims in 24 hours, and hundreds of person-hours are now saved annually—reducing errors, freeing staff for value-added work and enabling cost-effective growth.
