A Tungsten Automation Case Study
Stater, the Netherlands’ largest mortgage service provider managing around one million loans for more than 40 lenders, faced slow, paper-driven processing of building expense claims that required manual scanning and data entry, caused frequent back-and-forth with customers, and delayed payouts by about five working days. This costly, error-prone process created operational strain and risk for Stater and its partners.
Stater implemented a mobile app built on Kofax Mobile Capture™ and Kofax Transformation™ that turns smartphones into capture devices so customers can submit electronic claim forms and photos of receipts. The automated workflow routes and validates submissions, cutting typical payout time from five days to one, freeing staff from routine data entry, reducing error and fraud risk, and achieving strong early adoption in pilot rollouts.
