A Tungsten Automation Case Study
Schultz Information, a Copenhagen-based leader in digital information portals and decision tools for government and corporate customers, faced an overwhelming volume of public legal content—hundreds of government sites, 10,000+ annual rulings and countless interlinked documents and sub-paragraphs. Manually searching, downloading, classifying and registering metadata was error-prone, inconsistent and not scalable, limiting editors’ ability to deliver timely, relevant legal insights to municipalities and agencies.
Schultz deployed Kofax Kapow to automate data collection, editorial workflows and metadata registration with more than 300 automated information flows, including Kapow Kapplets for quick access. The automation freed editors for deeper analysis, enabled new high-value alerting and customization services, increased efficiency, and expanded Schultz’s metadata to nearly 350,000 records with roughly one million document relationships—positioning the company for further growth.
