A leading UAE bank sought to maintain its position at the forefront of mobile banking by adding Remote Cheque Deposit—letting customers photograph cheques on smartphones and tablets to deposit funds without visiting a branch. With cheques still widely used in the UAE, the bank needed a secure, accurate mobile capture solution that would reduce physical cheque handling, speed processing, and improve customer convenience as part of a broader “Smart Government” push.
