United Regional Health Care System, a regional hospital network in Wichita Falls, TX, struggled to give physicians credible clinical feedback: time-consuming chart reviews produced small, non–risk-adjusted samples that clinicians distrusted, and the organization needed a practical way to meet The Joint Commission’s OPPE requirements.

United Regional implemented Truven CareDiscovery to produce provider-specific, risk-adjusted, single-page Physician Insights reports that removed the “gotcha” perception and supported constructive review.
