How Kernel tripled brand awareness through the Make It Happen campaign

Kernel Wealth, a New Zealand-based personal finance platform, faced the challenge of measuring the impact of its brand-building activities in a highly competitive market. They needed a way to track traditionally hard-to-measure channels like out-of-home, print, and radio to understand how these efforts influenced brand awareness and customer perception. To address this, they turned to the vendor Tracksuit and its brand tracking tools.

Using Tracksuit, Kernel Wealth was able to measure the results of its "Make It Happen" brand campaign. The data showed that their brand awareness nearly tripled from 3.2% to 9% over several months, equating to approximately 178,000 more people becoming aware of the brand. Tracksuit's analytics also revealed a significant growth in share of voice against competitors and provided insights that directly informed the company's future marketing strategy.
