Sipsmith is a London-based, small-batch gin distillery that helped revive artisanal gin-making and was acquired by Beam Suntory in 2016. The company needed to scale awareness and distribution internationally while protecting its handcrafted, authentic brand identity—moving beyond bartender advocates to reach broader audiences without diluting credibility or relying on paid endorsements.
Sipsmith used Traackr to identify influencers whose content matched its craft and provenance values, invited creators to distillery experiences and media-first events (eg, Hot Gin Roof), and focused on long-term, organic relationships with creative control handed to influencers. The program generated strong organic reach (about 80 posts from one influencer/media night), has been adopted by teams in the US and Spain, and produced measurable gains in brand relevance and credibility rather than direct purchase conversions.
