After launching a Data Design Diabetes challenge, the team recognized people like “Patrick” — who wanted practical, lived-experience guidance and connection — lacked a central hub for lifestyle-focused conversation and trusted voices.
Sanofi created “The DX: The Diabetes Experience,” a blog that curates influencers and patient experts, setting the stage but letting the community lead. By focusing on people and purpose over product, the initiative became a trusted resource for lifestyle, fitness and self-care information, strengthened engagement with patients, positioned Sanofi as a values-driven partner, and demonstrated a scalable model for reaching the broader diabetes community (26.5M+ people).
