How TouchBistro Helped a Growing Full Service Restaurant Increase Sales by 37%

The Peached Tortilla is an Austin-based Asian‑Southern restaurant founded by chef Eric Silverstein that had expanded into multiple locations, food trucks and event space. As the business grew, servers were “stacking” orders by taking several tables’ tickets before entering them at stationary POS iPads, which sent waves of orders to the kitchen, increased ticket times, and hurt the guest experience.

The restaurant implemented TouchBistro tableside ordering on mobile iPads so servers enter orders immediately at the table, staggering kitchen tickets, reducing errors, and improving service speed. After rolling out tableside ordering in August 2018, summer sales rose 37% year‑over‑year and fall sales were up 24% YOY; the change also sped table turns and drove more repeat business.
