Waller Independent School District automates student and employee account management with UMRA

Waller ISD, a 5A Texas school district serving more than 7,000 students and staff across eight campuses, faced a time‑consuming, error‑prone process for managing student and employee accounts that required a full‑time staff member and left many inconsistent and stale accounts on the network. To solve this, Waller ISD worked with Tools4ever and adopted the User Management Resource Administrator (UMRA).

Tools4ever configured UMRA to automate the entire account lifecycle—linking Skyward, Active Directory, Google and other systems—so accounts are automatically created, updated, disabled and placed in the correct groups/containers, with notification emails and automated purging of departed users. As a result Tools4ever’s UMRA eliminated manual processes, standardized account naming, removed stale accounts, provisioned Google Apps, and freed IT staff from day‑to‑day account maintenance.
