UMRA increases efficiency and security for Lewisville Independent School District

Lewisville Independent School District (LISD), serving more than 51,000 students across 66 campuses, faced declining funding and heavy manual account‑management workloads that overwhelmed its helpdesk each school year. To automate provisioning and tighten security, LISD chose Tools4ever’s UMRA (User Management Resource Administrator) with connectors to Skyward (SIS), IFAS (HR/financial) and Active Directory.

Tools4ever implemented UMRA to mass‑import and automate student and staff account provisioning and to synchronize SIS/HR data with Active Directory; account creation time dropped from 24 hours to three, disabled accounts are revoked every 30 minutes to reduce security risk, and the district estimates saving at least 2 FTEs while significantly improving network security and operational efficiency.
