Umra Improves Efficiency At Pinellas County School District

Pinellas County School District, a Tampa Bay system of 138 schools serving 103,000 students, 8,500 teachers and hundreds of thousands of parents, was overwhelmed by account and password support — especially at the start of each school year — and needed a way to manage more than 300,000 user accounts. The district engaged Tools4ever, initially deploying its Self Service Reset Password Manager (SSRPM) to reduce helpdesk password calls.

Tools4ever implemented User Management Resource Administrator (UMRA) to automate account provisioning (integrating with Active Directory and the Focus Student Information System) alongside SSRPM for self-service password resets. The result was a major reduction in helpdesk calls, enrollment of over 200,000 parents in the first year, cleaner, validated user records, and freed IT staff to focus on classroom technology — outcomes directly attributed to Tools4ever’s solutions.
