Tangipahoa Parish School District, a Louisiana district of 37 schools with about 19,000 students and 4,000 employees, struggled to manage frequent student movement and place each of its over 23,000 user accounts into the correct security groups with a small IT staff. Tools4ever was selected to address this account-management headache using its UMRA (User Management Resource Administrator) product.

Tools4ever implemented UMRA to automate account provisioning and synchronization across systems so HR can make one-step updates that propagate to Active Directory and other systems, eliminating ad-hoc changes by multiple departments. As a result, Tangipahoa’s account management became 100% hands-off for the Technology Department, drastically reduced time spent on user administration, and freed IT to focus on classroom technology.
