Mountain View School District, a K–8 district in El Monte, California serving about 6,100 students, faced a growing IT burden: student accounts had to be manually provisioned from Aeries into Active Directory and the helpdesk was overwhelmed with staff password-reset requests. The district turned to Tools4ever and its IAM and SSRPM solutions to address these problems.
Tools4ever implemented IAM to automate provisioning from Aeries into Active Directory (and integrate with Google), redesign workflows, and generate stronger, less-guessable student credentials, while SSRPM gave staff a self-service password reset option. As a result, student accounts are automatically provisioned across systems, unauthorized account access was reduced to improve privacy compliance, and Tools4ever’s SSRPM drove a 20–30% drop in helpdesk-related calls.
