L&Q Group, which had relied on UMRA since 2006, faced growing complexity managing user provisioning as Office 365 and hybrid cloud requirements increased. Tools4ever was engaged to replace the ageing UMRA setup with HelloID, its cloud identity platform, to simplify synchronization between HR data, Active Directory and Azure AD and to modernize user lifecycle management.

Tools4ever configured HelloID to read MHR iTrent SQL views to create, update, move and disable accounts, consolidate users, update group memberships and provide reporting and auditing. As a result L&Q’s IT team can run scheduled syncs and make changes themselves rather than contacting Tools4ever, achieving faster group changes (“a couple of clicks”), improved provisioning efficiency, and a clear path to add more connectors using HelloID’s PowerShell support and the upcoming Service Automation module.
