Battleground Public Schools was struggling to manually manage some 11,000 staff and student user accounts—relying on scripts and manual updates—and its small helpdesk was overwhelmed with password-related calls. They engaged Tools4ever to address these identity and password management challenges using UMRA (User Management Resource Administrator) and SSRPM (Self-Service Reset Password Management).
Tools4ever implemented UMRA to clean up Active Directory (removing obsolete accounts and bulk-creating incoming students from state CSV files) and rolled out SSRPM via Group Policy to enroll over 11,000 users for self-service password resets. The deployment cut account-management tasks from hours a day to under a day during onboarding, freed the helpdesk to focus on higher-value IT work, and produced immediate ROI—about half a helpdesk salary in documented cost savings.
