Flavored Water Manufacturer Looks to Toluna for Help to Zero-in on Preferences of Health-conscious Consumers

Voss Water, an artesian sparkling water brand marketing in more than 50 countries with a strong focus on the U.S., needed faster consumer insight to appeal to health-conscious, specialty water drinkers and improve top-of-mind awareness. To meet that challenge Voss turned to Toluna and used Toluna’s QuickSurveys platform to rapidly test flavor preferences and marketing ideas in real time.

Using Toluna’s QuickSurveys, Voss identified two new flavors—Lemon Cucumber and Tangerine Lemongrass—in time for the U.S. summer season and later added Lime Mint after follow-up testing. The Toluna-led research accelerated product decisions, helped Voss extend its appeal to a new group of health-conscious, discerning sparkling-water consumers, and delivered flavors that “scored extremely well” with flavored sparkling water drinkers.
