Dazzle Jazz Club, a full-service restaurant and one of the top 100 jazz clubs in the world, moved into a larger Denver venue and needed technology that could scale without sacrificing the intimate supper-club experience. After 13 years on a legacy PosiTouch system, management sought a modern, extensible POS that would support mobile service across wide dining rooms and speed ticketing during concert rushes.
They implemented Toast’s cloud-based POS with handheld tablets and a Kitchen Display System. Handhelds let servers take orders and payments tableside, reducing lines and accelerating table turns, while the KDS gives expediters real-time, color-coded ticket timing and routes orders to prep stations instantly. The result was smoother workflows across dining rooms and the patio, faster check delivery after shows, and easy hardware expansion as the business grows.
