Case Study: Xynteo strengthens team identity with TMS Development International Ltd's Team Management Profile

The Team Management Profile became the vehicle for exploring team identity at global leadership think tank Xynteo

Xynteo, a London- and Oslo-based global leadership think tank focused on inspiring new business concepts and greener operating models, wanted to better align its teams around a shared strategic narrative and clearer team identity. To support this, the company used TMS Development International Ltd’s Margerison-McCann Team Management Profile as part of a two-day “Jamboree” for more than 60 employees.

TMS Development International Ltd designed and facilitated an interactive session that combined self-awareness, storytelling, team profiling and team mapping to help Xynteo’s people understand their individual and collective work styles. Using live voting, profile feedback and dynamic team maps, the groups identified common identity themes, highlighted strengths and development areas, and agreed actions for the months ahead. The main result was stronger self-awareness and a clearer sense of “tribe” identity, helping people become more accountable for their contributions to Xynteo’s strategic vision.
