Working with TikTok for Business and Incubeta, Koala tested which creative format resonated best with its engaged audience of adults 18+—particularly renters, homeowners, home buyers, and furniture enthusiasts—by comparing native TikTok-style content with repurposed assets.

TikTok for Business helped Koala run an experiment using four TikTok-first creatives built with organic platform elements like creators, TikTok graphics, music, and transitions, then served through In-Feed Ads. The TikTok-native ads delivered a 14% stronger CPC and a 30% higher CTR than repurposed ads, showing that authentic, platform-specific creative improved engagement and campaign efficiency.
