The Seattle Mariners partnered with Ticketmaster to solve limited ticket visibility and long lines at team-store and box-office onsales. The club wanted fans to see seat locations, choose better seats, and for staff to capture purchaser data more easily—challenges that traditional box-office terminals couldn’t address—so they evaluated Ticketmaster’s TM1 Sales solution.

Ticketmaster deployed TM1 Sales for one-on-one selling and line-busting at Mariners team stores, letting fans choose seats directly and creating fan accounts simply by swiping a credit card. The result was a 23% increase in revenue per ticket on TM1 Sales versus terminals, reduced wait times, simpler seller training, and adoption of TM1 Sales as a permanent sales channel with trials at Safeco Field.
